These videos are a series of interview-based pieces that were part of an individual directed study in Visual/Video Journalism. I interviewed, filmed, edited, and produced all of these videos during my final semester at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
As part of the curriculum for two service learning courses I took (Community Writing I & II), I created two documentary styled videos on the whole Community Teamwork agency as they approached their 50th anniversary. The first video was also shown at their 50th Anniversary Gala, in front of a huge audience, full of sponsors and staff.
Community Teamwork Inc. 50th Anniversary
I have created a PSA-styled video, as well as, a historical documentary-like medium length video for a non-profit community action agency in Downtown Lowell called Community Teamwork Inc. The PSA for the School Aged Child Care program video was filmed, edited and produced with my class partner, Shanique Joseph, as part of a service-learning project.
Done as a Multimedia Storytelling project, this video was filmed, edited and produced by classmates Miranda Wood, Jade Ervin, and myself using Final Cut Pro. It is focused on Women Who Rock, and for the video we interviewed lead singer of a local Lowell band, The Soft Cactus.
