My name is Laquasha Ervin. I like to go by Lala (fun name, I know).
A little about me:
I was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. I am a city girl at heart but a lover of nature and the simplicity of the "countryside". I have an identical twin sister (my #1 fun fact). I love bunnies, independent and horror films, music (live shows and music festivals), camping out in nature, nightlife, traveling, and spicy foods. My guiltiest pleasure is terrible reality television.

Back to business:
I graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell in May of 2015, where I received my Bachelor of Arts in English, with a Journalism & Professional Writing concentration. I also completed a minor in Digital Media.
I am skilled in using design/editing software, such as InDesign, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro/Express, Microsoft Publisher, and many more. I have created and designed brochures, a Public Service Announcement video, informational videos, event flyers, business-style documents, and much more.
- I have 8+ years of Marketing & Communications experience
- I've held multiple roles across various industries such as retail, health +wellness, technology, finance, B2B/SaaS and entertainment
- I have also gained invaluable experience and knowledge working at some of the country's top hospitals (Mass General and Brigham and Women's Hospital)
- Spent 2+ years at a major Advertising/Digital Marketing agency (Hill Holliday) as a Digital/Social Strategist, Community Manager, and Digital Producer
- Currently working as a freelance Marketing Consultant & Brand Strategist and part-time as a Brand Ambassador for HYPE agency and front-desk at AXL Spin Studio.
